CHOICE (Australian Consumers Association), founded in 1959, is the voice of authority in Australia when it comes to independent testing and advice that people can trust. Because of this, GT Radial is naturally thrilled to learn that the 215/50R17 GT RADIAL CHAMPIRO UHP1 tire has been recommended in the organization’s May 2015 tire test.

CHOICE tested 16 brands of 215/50R17 size car tires suitable for cars such as the Holden Cruze, Ford Focus, Mazda 6, and Subaru Liberty. Many well-regarded tire brands including Michelin, Pirelli, Goodyear, Hankook and Dunlop were tested. Despite the heavy competition, the GT Radial Champiro UHP1 was demonstrated as the #2 overall top performer with a total score of 85 out of 100, closely following only Michelin.

This is the 4th recommendation of GT Radial tires by CHOICE since 2012, and demonstrates the quality of the GT Radial brand. The brand’s recent high marks from CHOICE include the following:
