CHAMPIRO WINTERPRO: Best Test Results in Wet and Snow

• Winner of TÜV SÜD comparison test with three brand products, best in braking
• Specially developed for Central European winter road conditions

New GT RADIAL passenger car winter tyres on top: in its standardized test process, TÜV SÜD Automotive compared the CHAMPIRO WINTERPRO to three other brands products and declared it the overall winner. The WINTERPRO has the best braking qualities on wet and dry surfaces and features above-average aquaplaning and snow driving behaviour. It is the clear number one following completion of all driving tests.

New tread design for critical road conditions

The CHAMPIRO WINTERPRO’s above-average characteristics in snow and wet conditions are mostly thanks to its newly developed tread design and new compound. Its directional tread with intelligent drainage channels in the shoulders offers exceptional adherence even during critical road conditions. Tread blocks with fine sipes improve grip and braking behaviour on snow. The innovative silica tread compound also ensures secure grip on low-friction surfaces at temperatures around the freezing point. All this comes with lower rolling resistance than the predecessor model, and noise development remains remarkably low, especially for a winter tyre.
Like all new GT RADIAL tyres the CHAMPIRO WINTERPRO also bears the “S” and “W” markings on its side. They confirm that it meets EU tyre regulations for noise development(S)and traction in wet conditions(W).

The GT RADIAL CHAMPIRO WINTERPRO is available in 43 sizes and types in the T and H speed ratings.
