Mythbusters is one of the longest-running and most popular shows on The Discovery Channel. The show employs the scientific theory to either “confirm” or “bust” any number of theories derived from scenes in TV shows, movies or well-known urban legends. The hosts, Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, are special effects experts who use their skills to build full-scale reenactments, where they test the plausibility of new myth for each episode.

Conrad Grunewald of Team GT Radial recently spent a couple days as a guest professional driver with the Mythbusters crew. Conrad was invited on the show to test theories pertaining to the sport of drifting. Grunewald’s demonstration of drifting mastery will air during an episode of Mythbusters on the Discovery Channel later on this year. The GT Radial logo is prominently displayed on Conrad’s driver suit; as a result, our brand will enjoy significant exposure throughout this nationally televised episode of The Discovery Channel’s flagship show.

Our camera crew was on the scene during the filming of this episode and we were able to capture a sneak peek of the shenanigans to come. The above photo depicts our own Conrad Grunewald with one of the hosts from Mythbusters, Adam Savage. In past episodes, Savage has been a more than willing participant in experiments that involve pressing the pedal to the metal. One can only image how much fun he had, hanging with a skilled speedster like Conrad.
